Breakfast - we still like it!

Snow!? So on the 2nd morning, we woke up and it was snowing, a LOT!
Only thing we had really thought about doing, was go to a park - so since we didn't really have any plans, just ate breakfast and decided to try do some shopping today

On our way to the subway, we noticed that girls were very dressed up, and they wore shorts and skirts even when it was cold, even snowing!

Also, they use umbrellas for snow - weird!

Anyway, we walked to the nearest subnade connection to Shinjuku station and made our way to Takashimaya.

So much food!!!

Once we got into the basement of Takashimaya (they didn't open till 10am), Mich loved it!!! All the different Japanese food, it was huge! And everyone was bowing, saying hi. We ended up spending 40 minutes looking for food.

Ended up with Korokke and some maki sushi. We went upstairs (near the Tokyu Hands store) and found a little place to eat our snack.

After the snack, we did a bunch of shopping in Tokyu Hands store. Then got another snack!!

The subway is huge!

Too bright in the Akihabara stores - lots of escalators

I quickly got Mich out of the fabric section, then we went to the Shinjuku station and went to Akihabara, the electronics area. The stores were superbright! It hurt my eyes..

We just looked around for a bit, then went to a little ramen shop near the station. Bought our tickets outside, then went in. They actually had a list of things for us to choose - thick/thin noodles, spicy/not spicy, etc... It was really good!

Super big Shibuya crossing!

It was still raining, so we went to Shibuya to do some more shopping. Went to the Loft, sort of like the Tokyu Hands store. Afterwards, ended up going back to the hotel and had a instant udon dinner (which was quite tasty) and onigiris and a dessert from the mini mart.
